DW Electrical completed the entire electrical installation to all 77 studio’s and one bedroom serviced apartments as well as the 24 hour front of house reception area and communal lounge, which is an imaginative social space designed to offer a calm place to be when you’re ready to escape the city or your apartment.
Works included installing power outlets with multi socket plugs (including integrated USB ports), lighting, data, TV points, fire alarms, door entry, CCTV and underfloor heating. We also installed UPS’s (uninterruptible power source) which are electrical apparatus that provide emergency power to a load when the input power source or mains power fails.
Located in the Heart of London the Chancery Court Hotel in Holborn now the newly refurbished Rosewood London, combines English Heritage with contemporary sophistication.
As part of this refurbishment we were instructed by our client to carry out a major part of the electrical installation services.
We were responsible for the lighting and power to the front of house and back of house areas, including the external lighting to this Hotels grand façade, Due to the location and load restrictions on the pedestrian area below we were unable to use conventional mechanical platforms or scaffolding for access, we therefore enlisted the services of an abseiling company who trained our electrician to join their team and carry out the installation of the external lighting by roped access.
Our client, W Stirland demolished a retirement home in Hassocks and replaced it with 8 new build, modern flats. We were then instructed to design the entire electrical installation for the project, including layout, accessories and light fittings, both internally and externally.
We then completed the electrical installation for the entire property, which consisted of the 8 flats, communal areas and grounds.
The installation included all lighting, power, external lighting (including lamp posts), fire alarms and door entry systems.
